Hi, we are Team Sequoia, and we are launching this GoFundMe to support The Nature Conservancy because this is personal to us and urgent for all of us.

In January 2025, my (Kent) family had to evacuate during the Los Angeles wildfires. When you have to grab your essentials, get your loved ones out, and hope your home is still there tomorrow, climate risk stops being a headline and becomes your real life. That experience lit a fire in me to take action, not just feel concern.

The Nature Conservancy is one of the most effective organizations in the world at protecting land and water so that people and nature can thrive. They work across 81 countries, partnering with communities to conserve vital ecosystems, protect wildlife, and build more resilient futures.

Here is how your donation helps make a difference:

Protects critical habitats and ecosystems that store carbon and support biodiversity

Supports community-based conservation and sustainable practices

Accelerates real, on-the-ground projects with measurable impact

Our goal is simple and concrete: plant trees and fund conservation work that restores nature and strengthens communities facing disasters like the one my family lived through.

If you feel called, please donate and share this fundraiser. Even a small gift matters, and sharing is a powerful form of support. Thank you for standing for life, for families, and for the future.
