Hi, my name is Patrice Smith, and I am fundraising to save my home. I'm a single mother of one, and have lost three jobs in a matter of months... Due to no transportation and barely enough funds to even catch the bus. I've been walking two hours to work and two hours back, and recently lost my last job because I was a few minutes late. Every penny I get goes towards my bills, and I have no food in my refrigerator. I put my last $500 on my rent, but it is still $897 short, because it is behind. I can go without food, and I can even go without lights or AC, BUT I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE my sons and I home/roof. His father is passed, and I don't want him to have to live in another shelter.
