Hi my name is Amy Suen, I recently found out that I had colon cancer. The news was very shocking for me and I thought it was the end of the world especially after the horrible stories that I had heard about cancer. I am a part time student and dog trainer. I am very outgoing and love animals as well as people. I hope to one day open up a homeless shelter for animals. I am praying that my dream does not get cut short. I had my surgery on 08/18/2015 to have part of my colon removed with the hopes that there is no more cancer. The surgery was a success. I am just praying that the cancer is gone, but I am still healing now in the hospital. I have a long lifetime journey ahead of me that I dont want to end any time soon. I am asking family and friends for finacial support to cover medical and personal expenses. Due to the unexpected tragic news I am unable to work so my income is very limited. I thank everyone for their encouraging words and prayers. I am going to beat this thing and I refuse to let it win. This was written by my lovely mom, for me in my absence. Once again, thank you.
