My aunt and uncle were in an accident on their 17th wedding anniversary, 02/13/2016. They were on the 78 heading home from grocery shopping and were hit by a drunk driver. John stated there was no way he could have avoided the accident.

They both suffer from several injuries. My aunt was rushed to emergency surgery early hours of Valentine's Day. She had hematoma of the bowels, 3 brokers ribs, a chipped sternum, back fractures and open lacerations from the seat belt. She also suffered from internal bleeding and her bowels were leaking inside of her body. After surgery she was put on a ventilator due to issues with her oxygen levels. My uncle suffers from a broken fibula among scratches and bruises all over his body.

Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated. My aunt and uncle struggle as is and are now out of a car and my uncle will be out of work for some time. They lost their car, all of the food they had just purchased, they're going to be behind on bills and have 3 kids at home. They're going to need to pay the rent for the next three months along with all the other bills while John heals.

The family is making sure the kids are taken care of.
