Please help Super Mario get the meds he needs

My father has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. This is an aggressive cancer but is not without treatment. The medication he requires is at a cost of $8000 per month and it is not covered by private insurance or OHIP.
My father is loved by so many people and we are all equally devestated by this news. He said to me the other day, that he has a lot of life left to live. With this medication we can help him live the life that he so deserves. 
My father always has his hands in his pockets and refuses to let people pay. Its his turn to let others reach into their pockets....
Please help him and his family alleviate the financial burden for this potentially life saving drug!
