I am an occupational therapist who has worked with people with Autism for 32 years and CranioSacral Therapy is one of the strategies we have found very effective in helping people overcome many of the symptoms. CranioSacral Therapy really does change lives, and there are no more deserving people to learn about this work than families with children struggling for help.
A research project I have worked on for 2 years has just been accepted to be presented at the International Congress of Integrative Medicine and Health in Las Vegas in May 2016. Any other year, I would be able to pay for the expenses of travel, hotel, tuition, etc. However, with both kids in college and big changes in the works for our clinic, there is no extra cash!! It is very important information to 'get this out there' and would help in public education on this topic.
Expenses needed to be covered:
Airfare - $250-300
Hotel 2 nights - $200-300
Tuition to attend the event - $595
Professional poster created - $200
Meals - light eating only
The project is a study on how CranioSacral Therapy is helping Children with Autism. It is the first of its kind in published works. I am not asking for myself, but for my clients, their families, and ALL the people effected by Autism Spectrum Disorders. They need to know about all the effective therapies that are available.
I am asking for small donations only. With the help of all my friends, colleagues, and the community, we together can make this happen. I will represent you to the best of my ability.
