Arturo Martinez

Arturo has been longing for 'home' for a couple of years. He is now home in the warm embrace of his Heavenly Father.

To know Arturo is to know he has been yearning for El Salvador. The place he was born and grew up. Arturo's deep affection for El Salvador grew immensely after having worked so hard to build a life here in the United States. Indeed, he built a beautiful life here alongside his wife, Gloria. He leaves behind his 2 beautiful children, Jhonny & Jasmine and many, many adoring friends and family members. This past year, he fought hard to see Jhonny turn 16 back in February. Jasmine said, "papa I want you to live till my birthday". Arturo was able to get out of bed and celebrate Jasmine's 14th birthday late October of this year. Gloria's birthday is this coming December 24th, where she will be with her mama and close family in El Salvador laying her husband to rest.

Arturo's last request was to be buried with his parents in El Salvador. The family is currently making arrangements. His funeral mass will be held Saturday, December 16th at St. Lawerence Catholic Church in Indianapolis at 1:00 with visitation in the chapel from 11:00-1:00.

Because of medical bills, funeral costs, travel expenses and transport to El Salvador, we are asking that all memorials (flowers, food & condolences) be made to their GOFUNDME. Gloria is eternally grateful for your prayers, thoughts, love & support through this entire journey.

To hear Arturo talk as he longed for El Salvador- we now know that was God's way of preparing him for eternity. He entered the gates of heaven on Tuesday morning, December 5, 2023. He fought & worked hard for his family here on earth. He is now made whole & perfect! And reunited with his parents & his loved ones in heaven.
