My mom needs help

Hello,
My name is Ethan. I’m 18 years old. On April 14, 2022, my step dad, and retired veteran, Sandy (67) suffered a major stroke which took away his ability to use the left side of his body and affected his cognitive ability. Over the past year my mom, Jodie (44) has dedicated every waking moment into taking care of my step dad. This means that she has not been able to work. My mom built a career at Missoula County Justice Court for 13 years and was wrongfully terminated in the spring of 2018. After losing her career and our home, my mom worked incredibly hard to rebuild the life that we once had. In 2019 she found a job working for the Missoula County Public Defender’s office, and was terminated in 2021 after a misunderstanding left her-once again-without a job. Over the next few months she searched for a job until my step dad had a stroke. She has perpetually been down on her luck, and despite putting everything she has into every job or duty she’s been given, she is now on the verge of bankruptcy, between paying for rent, storage, and insurance, she is on her last leg. My mother doesn’t deserve to be in this position and what I want more than anything is for her to once again have a chance to build back what she once built for herself, me, and my brothers before everything fell apart.
