Initially, we came to the Mayo Clinic because there were no doctors in California who seem to know what was making my daughter sick. What was supposed to be a two-day visit of consultations and observations with the doctors and specialists at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, turned into my daughter being admitted to the hospital because she had lost too much weight. It looks like she'll be here for Christmas, which is not fun for any kid.
