Hello all, myself and my best friend Gavin are running the alloa half marathon next year to raise money for The Beatson cancer charity . The Beatson literally changed our lives, not only did they save Paul but going through pregnancy while Paul was unwell in their care and with a toddler in tow, they supported me. Paul had tonsil cancer that spread to his lymphnodes, there was a point where he was so unwell that we were unsure of his outcome. The Beatson got us there and as a family we cannot thank them enough. I didn’t think at our age (27 and 37) cancer would knock at our door but cancer doesn't care about that. We are one year on and Paul has finally got the all clear and we are on our journey to living life again with our two beautiful girls. If you can give anything to this AMAZING charity, please please do.. it changes and saves life’s. It has allowed us to raise our family without the worry of cancer.
