Earlier this year, Pastor Sherman and Naomi experienced a miscarriage. They discovered that Naomi had a molar pregnancy. They went through with a D&C (Dilation and Curettage) surgery. A couple months after the D&C surgery, the doctors had Naomi do some extra blood work, x-rays, and ultrasounds. They found that Naomi had a gestational tumor growing in her womb that came from molar tissues. These abnormal cells act like a cancer which can often times spread to your lungs and become very dangerous. In order to get rid of the abnormal cells doctors suggested that Naomi undergo Chemotherapy. Naomi will be going through at least 6 cycles of chemotherapy in hopes to get rid of the abnormal cells. She does chemo once a day for 5 days and takes a week off. Chemo 5 times a week is very difficult. She gets very tired and has a number of the side effects of chemo and is not able to work. As you would imagine, the chemo doses, medicine, and other medical bills are also overwhelmingly expensive. We know the Lord will provide through this difficult time. We appreciate you supporting Pastor Sherman and Naomi during this time.
