Evacuation Funds Needed
Currently we are evacuated from the Walbridge fire as I live in Rio Nido and the rest of my family lives in Guerneville.
We were camping in a no cell service zone 6 hours away when the fires started and we didnt learn about it until everyone was being evacuated.
We were able to get in to grab my car and a few valuables but we had to head back towards Ukiah where left the tent trailer and we stayed in hotels until Sunday. We were able to book a camping spot in Garberville until the 28th because it was cheap lodging.
We dont know when (or if) we will be able to go back to our homes. We are missing work due to being evacuated and our work is in a mandatory evacuation zone as well.
I hate asking for help. One year ago I lost everything in the Guerneville flood and I struggled with setting up a Go Fund me then. I wouldnt ask for help if we didnt need it.
We are running out of funds and could really use some help as 3 of us are out of work right now. We appreciate anything and will always pay it forward.
