meet Elliot.
Elliot is a one of a kind guy. Always eager to help a friend in need or just have a good time. Elliot is the kind of guy you want in your corner. He loves to play music with his friends and can play a slew of instruments (drums, guitar, piano, accordion,bass, etc...)

Anybody who has met Elliot knows the kind of energy and happiness he brings everywhere with him. He is a amazing uncle to his nephews and a great brother to his many siblings. And somehow he is a even better friend.
for the last 13 years of my life elliot has been my best friend.
Earlier this year he was diagnosed with burkitt's lymphoma.
Burkitt lymphoma is a form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in which cancer starts in immune cells called B-cells. Recognized as the fastest growing human tumor, Burkitt lymphoma is associated with impaired immunity and is rapidly fatal if left untreated. However, intensive chemotherapy can achieve long term survival in more than half the people with Burkitt lymphoma.
At only 26 Elliot is facing a battle that most of us will never have to face, yet we his family and friends have absolute faith in his strength and his willpower. We know he will clear this hurdle without getting knocked down. What we don't know however is how we are going to tackle this mountain of medical bills being stacked onto him.
According to the aflac medical insurance website the cost of new cancer drugs alone can be over $100,000 a year not including the costs of hospital stays, xrays and various scans, doctor visits, and all the other hidden costs that seem to pop up when you are in a battle with cancer.
Elliot needs all of his focus and energy pointed at beating this cancer so he can not afford to worry about medical expenses at the moment. As i type this he is laying in the hospital doing his second round of chemotherapy. At only 6 weeks into his treatments he is already tens of thousands of dollars in debt. And now that he can no longer work his regular bills are starting to stack upon him aswell.
it now falls upon us, his friends and family(and perhaps the kindness and generosity of a few strangers) to help Elliot in his time of need as he has helped so many of us so many times in the past.
Any little thing at all helps including prayers and kind words of encouragement of any kind. 100% of all funds collected go directly to helping elliot pay for his medical expenses and stacking bills as he fights this battle and on his long road to recovery.
