I’m reaching out with a heart full of urgency and hope for my dear friend Brandy—a woman who has given everything for others but now finds herself in desperate need of help.

Brandy is a military veteran, a therapist who worked tirelessly during the pandemic in the Emergency Room saving lives and comforting those in their darkest hours. She’s a single mother, raising her beautiful daughter, who’s just started kindergarten, all while continuing to provide trauma therapy to people in dire need. For years, Brandy has dedicated herself to helping others, never asking for anything in return.

But now, Brandy is facing a situation she never could have imagined.

She trusted a contractor to renovate her bathroom, something she had saved for and dreamed of. But instead of fulfilling his promises, he dismantled not only the bathroom but also the main stairwell and laundry room, leaving her home in an uninhabitable state. The contractor took her money, left her with destruction, and disappeared, leaving Brandy without the resources to fix the mess.

The physical and emotional toll of this has been overwhelming. She and her daughter are living without a functional bathroom, laundry, or even a safe, usable stairwell. Every day is a struggle. This isn’t just a renovation project—this is about a woman who has given everything to others, now unable to care for herself or her child.

We are hoping to raise $25,000 to help Brandy rebuild not just the physical spaces that have been destroyed, but also her peace of mind and security. This will cover the costs of repairing the bathroom, stairwell, and laundry room, as well as hiring a trustworthy, skilled contractor to finish what was started.
