Supporting the Strong Family

On August 10th, Katie was traveling with her mom and brother in Scotland when a truck hit their car. Katie’s mom, Mary Lou, and brother, Jared, did not survive. Katie was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition. Chris, one of Katie's friends, and an aunt flew to Scotland, arriving Friday morning.

Katie's daughters (Bela, Mae, and Gil) are with Chris's mom at home. He remains in Scotland for the coming weeks. A meal train has been arranged. As her loved ones are struggling with angst, grief, and profound, unquenchable loss, we want to do whatever we can. This is one way to support them.
