Help Replace Stolen Work Tools

In the early morning hours of February 2nd my work vehicle was parked in the turn off between upper and lower Taylor road in Stratton, Vermont due to a minor mechanical issue I encountered on my way home from a job. I left the vehicle securely locked at around 8pm. When I returned to the vehicle at 630 am, I found that the vehicle had been vandilised and all the contents stolen. The vandals smashed every window from the vehicle, broke the door, broke the gas pedal, smashed both side view mirrors, smashed every head and tail light, took a hammer to the hood, caused extensive body damage and by doing so totaled the vehicle. The insurance company is paying $5600 for the truck, I owe more than $7000. In addition to the damages the vandals stole over $10,000 in tools and materials, tool boxes, tool bags, hand and electic tools for both carpentry and plumbing, and even my cold weather gear ;coat, coveralls,etc. for outdoor projects was taken. My insurance, refuses to cover any of the tools or other "personal property" that was in the vehicle. I have been purchasing and gathering my tool collection for 20 years and this is an absolute devastating loss for myself and my family. I am the primary breadwinner for my family of 6 as my fiance, a former RN in the Bennington and Albany area had to stop working due to Multiple Sclerosis. My tools were my livelyhood, they are what makes money to feed my kids, heat my home, pay my mortgage, and I have lost everything. 

I am hoping that with your help I will be able to cover the cost in the "gap" between what insurance is covering and what we owe left on the vehicle, which is about $2500, and to replace some basic tools in order to keep working and prevent any further losses for my family.

I need to start replacing my equipment as soon as possible to maintain my ability to effectively perform my work. It is very difficult for me to reach out for help in this way, but truly appreciate anything, anyone can do to help. 

I am the father of 2 children ages 3 and 5 and step father to 2 children ages 14 and 17, who also rely on me. The degenerate who did this, did not just affect me, but a family of 6 who was already struggling to make ends meet. Our family is truly appreciative of any help you can give.
