Hello there. The circumstances are as such: My mom passed away in February 2021 due to complications from COVID-19. When that happened, the title to our house was only in her name. So, the house is finally out of probate! My brother doesn’t want the house though, so i have to buy out my brother’s half to be able to keep the property. His half being $200k.

I just want my baby (due May 2022) to be able to grow up in the same house that I did, go to the same schools, and find safety in the neighborhood that I did. It may not work, but I have to try, right? My parents bought this house in 1983 and I’d like to be able to leave it to my baby one day.
