Brown Family

Hello I am writing this on behalf of my cousin Katie & Gary Brown’s 19 year old son, Nicholas.

This Winter their son Nicholas was diagnosed with Anaplastic Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma ( ALCL) His body quickly became covered with enlarged nodules. Testing has shown it has spread to his lungs and muscle. More testing is being done this month to make sure it’s not spread to his spine. Nicholas also has a benign cyst in the pituitary gland in his brain. This is something that will need be treated once the cancer has been cleared. Gary and Katie work very hard to support their family of 5. While they do have medical insurance the copays, deductibles and coinsurance are quickly piling on. We did raise some money for them to give them a little breathing room around Christmas, but unfortunately Nicholas was in a car accident right before the Holiday, breaking his hand and the man who hit him totaled Katie’s car. They are going to have to rent a car on their own as the one they got from accident is coming to an end. They will need to get another vehicle in order to be able to both continue to work and get Nicholas back and forth to all of his many chemo and Dr appointments. This latest blow has left them crippled financially and worried about how they are going to pay off a car they no longer have, buy another car and still pay for all the mounting medical as well as all the other things we all have to pay for to live every day. Katie and Gary are very proud, loving people and they don’t ask for help, but they need our help and prayers now. Times are hard for all I know, but if you could donate any amount or share this with anyone & everyone you know, it would mean the world to my family. The last thing they need to be worrying about now is how they are getting Nick to his dr’s and treatments as well as how they are going to pay for it all.
