My name is Luis Meza alot of you know me from elementary, middle and high school or even work.
Am fundraising After I got diagnosed with a brain tumor due to going to emergency room after I fainted at work. On a regular day like any other day I when to work and when it was the end of the day I started to feel not my self, out of no where I forgot how to walk down the stairs and I got scare ,saw everything spinning out of control and fainted. Thank God my co workers were there to assist me and call my father to come pick me up. My father was told by my co-workers that I couldn't walk or drive back home and to please come quickly they didn't know what was wrong with me. My father got to the jobsite and didn't hesitate and drove me to the doctors. The Doctor found something in my head after doing studies on a cat scan immediately scheduled an MRI for that evening with RWJ hospital due to vision implications & risk of seizures.
Results revealed that I had a tumor slightly larger than a quarter growing in my brain. I was admitted immediately and scheduled to meet with a neurologist and neurosurgeon. met with an amazing team of doctors who were confident about the success of the removal. Due to the size of the tumor, doctors ruled out radiation treatment and scheduled brain surgery for 05/18/23 and placed me on anti-seizure medication and a CT scan of My chest, stomach and pelvis. Scans came back clear and no other signs of any tumors.
Im schedule to have surgery on may 18th 2023 but my biggest concerned is not working after surgery plus not being able to drive, bend down and do other physical things. The money I'm looking to get from go fund me is to provide some relief .Me and my family will still be faced with large hospital bills, mortgage payment and my other expenses since im going to be out of work. My recovery and rehabilitation. Will be thanks to all who help me in these hard time. Thanks for all your kindness.
