Medical Expenses for Cancer Surgery

My name is Paul Dailey. My lovely wife Ann has developed cancer in her right kidney. It’s been decided that removing the entire kidney is the best approach. My wife is currently in long term care due to a ruptured aneurysm in her frontal lobe back in 2017. She has three brain aneurysms altogether. She has had 21 surgeries in the past five years. She is totally paralyzed except for her right arm and hand, and she can’t speak. She is still quite cognitive and her memory is still in tact. They coiled the aneurysm, however she experienced two major vassospasms (Strokes) on day 4 and 5 after her surgery. She laid in a coma for 3 months after the strokes.

 

She has come a very long way in the past 5 years. She had her trach removed 3 years ago, so she can eat and drink what she wants. I’ve worked with her to help her develop her right hand since she’s left handed. She’s able to brush her own hair, wash her face and she can now use a spoon to feed herself.

But, this fundraiser is for her kidney cancer. I appreciate any and all donations I’ve never started a GoFundMe, but I’m hoping that we can raise enough to cover our part of the medical expenses.
