This is a fundraiser for my dad, Kyle, a loving father of 3 who is only 49.
On Thursday 23rd of May, dad called me to meet him at the emergency department at Maitland Hospital. Dad was so clearly in unbearable pain it was heartbreaking to watch. Deep down we were hoping it was just another hurdle in life that he could overcome. Instead, we got the absolute worst news possible that he has several tumors in his abdomen, the primary cancer is in his lungs. This has caused a major setback for dad, leaving him unable to work for the next 6 months minimum. He has started his chemotherapy journey but this is only the beginning. Seeing the financial burden weigh him down on top of being stuck in a room, unable to live his life, I wouldn’t wish upon anyone.
Anyone that knows dad can agree he has always bent over backwards for everyone in his life and has very rarely put himself first. Knowing the selfless person my dad is I ask on behalf of our friends and family to help raise the funds to hopefully relieve some financial stress off his shoulders, this will help with his day to day needs and medical bills.
Anything that can be donated is truely appreciated, even a share to spread the word to help dad get the support he needs as I need him around for many more years to come ♥️
