Hello Classmates!

10 years ago, we successfully issued a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior in the class of 2015 from our amazing alma mater, Northwest Halifax High School, now known as Northwest Collegiate & Technical Academy. As we embrace 20 years, we would love to once again reach back to the graduating class of 2025 and award an astonishing senior or 2 a scholarship to the college or university of their choice.

I challenge all of my classmates to donate a minimum of $25 to help us reach our goal of $1000. The deadline for this will be April 30th to give us time to award a student before they graduate. Please be sure to leave your name so that we can keep up with those of us that have donated.

In a time where secondary education is not being pushed or as important as it was when we all came through, we need to make sure that we do our part to help provide what is needed for our legacy to succeed. It takes a village and we need to make sure that we are actively giving back to the youth in our community, whether we still live in the area or not. I hope that you all could find it in your heart to help the class of 2005 give back to the school that once gave us so much. I look forward to seeing you all in the coming months as we celebrate 20 years!!!
