Hey Guys! Thank you for taking the time to read my letter! I am a local Campbell River PowerLifting Athlete training out of Diamond Strength and Conditioning. I love this sport and am so happy to be part of a community empowering women to become strong! I have an urgent request of you…please read on!
I currently coach other athletes and am the owner of Diamond Strength and Conditioning (home of Crossfit O’Twelve). For the past 2 years I have put my own training focus into PowerLifting. I train with a very knowledgeable and skilled coach in Courtenay, Marc Mazzocchi. Since we made the decision a year ago to begin competing, I have competed in:
Spring Open (1st Place)
BC Provincials (1st Place; breaking records for Bench Press and Deadlift)
Fall Classic (1st Place)
Winter Open (1st Place) (Breaking Provincial Records for Bench Press Deadlift and Total)
PowerLifting is an individual sport which consists of Back Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift. Each competitor has 3 attempts at each lift to hit a maximum weight. Once you have completed all 9 lifts your score is determined by your heaviest successful attempt of each lift. You train and grind for days, months and years to go up on stage for a few minutes and prove to the judges you have what it takes. Self-discipline and confidence are essentials in your coach and yourself.
At the Winter Open last month I qualified to compete against the strongest women of Canada in Newfoundland for the 2015 PowerLifting Nationals! Looking at the numbers women have lifted in previous meets, I am confident I can bring home a win and put Campbell River on the National PowerLifting Map!
To do this I need your support. In order to make this trip possible, I need to raise $3000 to cover my travel costs and competition fees. Time is of the essence as we need to fly out of Campbell River on the 3rd of April.
We hope you can become a part of our journey. In return, we will give you a signed picture with a thank you. We also will put up, in our gym, your business logo and or name and a thank you to you. We will give you a shout out in all of our social media networks, and any other media with which we connect.

Thank you so much for your concideration and support!
