Hi everyone,
I am a First-Gen, Low-Income BIPOC senior at Mount Holyoke, majoring in CRPE, and I’m reaching out with an urgent request. I have been struggling financially all year, and it has taken a serious toll on my mental health. I recently received an email from Student Financial Services stating that I will not be able to graduate due to my outstanding semester bill of approximately $5,000. Despite multiple conversations with them, I have been unable to find a solution.
I fully support myself, paying all my bills on my own, and I have done everything I can to manage, but I am now at a point where I need help. In addition to my semester bill, I am dealing with medical debt from a car accident, which I am being taken to court for due to losing my insurance. Without a reliable vehicle or a sustainable job, my financial situation has become even more difficult.
The school has been unresponsive to my concerns, continuing to add fees despite knowing my financial hardship. My biggest priority right now is raising enough funds to cover my semester bill so I can graduate. While my medical expenses are also overwhelming, I am only asking for help with my tuition at this time.
If you are able to contribute, any amount is deeply appreciated. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing my GoFundMe to help spread the word. Thank you all for your support—it truly means the world to me.
