Emergency Pacemaker Surgery
Donation protected
As most of you know, on February 27, 2015, I was taken by ambulance to the emergency room after passing out at work. In the ER, I passed out again while I was hooked up to the heart monitor. They said my heart paused for 30 seconds and the doctors and nurses were surprised I came back on my own. They told me I needed a pacemaker and within the hour I was in surgery. Luckily, I was surrounded by my coworkers at the dental office who called 911 for my first episode and then later in the emergency room I was already hooked up to the ekg so they could see what was happening when I was losing consciousness.
Unfortunately, we do not have the money we are going to need to cover our portion of the medical expenses for my costly surgery and weekend hospital stay. Any donation is greatly appreciated and I truly can't thank you enough for helping ease this financial stress that comes along with emergency surgery. I am here and my cyborg heart is tickin thanks to the amazing staff at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
You all know how big my heart is and I'm happy to be here still to share it with all of you.
Love,
Meesh
