Extra Support for Maggie

With a very heavy heart, I share the sad news that our beloved friend, Mom, wife, sister and colleague Maggie passed Saturday morning. Maggie has been fighting this battle for several years; during this fight, she inspired many with how she faced this every day. She was never running from death but running to life; an amazing life she created with her husband Sam and their two beautiful kids. Sadly she came to a moment when there were no more options. She was fortunate enough to be in the comfort of her own home having had a long visit Friday night with her husband Sam, her sister Michelle and her kiddos’, Kaylee and Evan. We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped donate to Maggie and her family when she was first diagnosed. This extra funding has tremendously helped as she and her family have navigated three years of chemotherapy treatment, scans, radiation and other medical support.

We are resurrecting the second round of GoFundMe to help out with the medical costs that quickly added up this last several weeks as they tried everything they could to give her more time and get her back on her treatment plan. This involved ambulance services, multiple surgeries, transfusions, tests, scans and many nights in the hospital. We hope to give Sam and the kids a little extra relief so they can focus on healing and moving into a new life without Maggie.

Again, the family and her ‘crew’ have appreciated the support, love and all of the care this last three years.
