In March of 2018 Lisa was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma.  As you know this is a life changing and heart breaking situation for  Lisa, her husband, and her two sons.  She underwent multiple rounds of chemo and radiation.  The cancer remained and the gene mutated allowing it to fight off the chemo.  She had a salvage chemo followed by a Autologous Stem Cell Transplant @ Dana Farber in the spring of 2019.  She was pronounced cancer free in June of 2019.  The fight was not over.  In October 2020 she was told the cancer had returned after 15 months of being cancer free.   She spent Christmas with her family.  On December 28, 2020 she began her fight again with more chemo @ Dana Farber.  On January 4, 2021 she had Car T Cell Immunotherapy.  Updates to be posted.  With this fundraiser we are hoping to help lessen the financial hurdles of medical and everyday family expenses for the DiIorio family and appreciate all of your support and prayers at this time to comfort Lisa.
