Hello everyone. I am writing this on behalf of my sister, Adriana.

This is a hard thing to share, but Adriana was recently diagnosed with an agressive cancer. We were hoping it would be a straightfoward treatment plan, but have been thrown many curveballs. She has already gone through 1 major surgery which has left her unable to do most daily tasks on her own as she recovers over a period of 8+ weeks. She may also need to start chemotherapy soon which will have its own impact.

She had worked very long hours prior to surgery to try and save enough money to cover expenses while she was out from work. Unfortunately, the expenses have added up beyond her savings as treatment and recovery times are being extended.

Being a strong and independent person, it has been hard for her to ask for help. However, the stress of everything adding up is making it hard for her to focus on her treatment and recovery.
