ኢትዮትዩብ በአለም ዙሪያ ለሚገኙ ኢትዮጵያውያን ሀሳባቸውን የሚያንሸራሽሩበትና ባለሙሉ መረጃ ዜጋ መሆኑ የሚችሉበት ነጻ መድረክ በመሆን ከ10 ዓመታት በላይ አገልግሏል። አየተካረረ በመጣው የመገናኛ ብዙሃን ምኅዳር ውስጥ፣ ገለልተኛ የሆነ ሚዲያ ገንብተናል። ኢትዮትዩብ የዜጎች ጋዜጠኝነት በኢትዮጵያውያን ዘንድ አንዲስፋፋ ፈር ቀዳጅ የሆነ ሚዲያ ሲሆን፣ ተወዳጅ የሆኑ መሰናዶዎችን ለዓመታት በማዘጋጀትና ለታዳሚዎች በማቅረብ፣ የተለያዩ አመለካከት ያላቸውን የማኅበረሰባችን ክፍሎች በሃይማኖት፣ በብሄር እና በፖለቲካ አመለካከት ሳይለይ ወደ አንድ መድረክ በማምጣት የውይይት ባህላችን አንዲዳብር ከፍተኛ ጥረት ለዓመታት ሲያደርግ መቆየቱ ሚዲያችንን ለየት ያደርገዋል። ኢትዮትዩብ ከተጠቃሚው ከሚያገኘው ገቢ ይልቅ ለሚያስተላልፈው መረጃ ትክክለኝነት ቅድሚያ የሚሰጥ ሀላፊነት የሚሰማው ሚዲያ መሆኑን ለዓመታት አስመስክሯል። ምኞታችንና ተልእኳችን ፍትህ፣ እኩልነት እና የመናገር ነጻነት የተከበሩባት ኢትዮጵያን ማየት ነው።

ለኢትዮትዩብ የሚቀጥለው ምእራፍ በኢትዮጵያ ቢሮ መክፈትና፣ ስልጣንን ተጠያቂ የማድረግ ሞያዊ ግዴታውን በሀገር ቤት መወጣት ነው። የእርስዎ እርዳታ የሚያስፈልገን እዚህ ላይ ነው። ኢትዮትዩብ ለሚከተሉት አላማዎች ድጋፍዎን ይፈልጋል፦

- ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ቢሮ ለመክፈትና ነጻና ለሞያቸው ታማኝ የሆኑ ገለልተኛ ጋዜጠኞችን ለመቅጠር
- ለማኅበረሰቡ ፋይዳ ባላቸው ጉዳዮች ላይ የምርመራ ጋዜጠኝነት ለማካሄድ
- በተለያዩ ርእሰ ጉዳዮች ላይ የኢትዮትዩብ የውይይት መድረክኮች ለማዘጋጀት
- አንደ ተወዳጁ ፉገራ ዜና፣ አቀራረቡ የሚማርከው አንኳር እለታዊ ዜና፣ ሞጋቹ መሰናዶ አፈርሳታና የመሳሰሉት ታዋቂ የኢትዮትዩብ መሰናዶዎችን በቋሚነትና በቀጣይነት ለማስኬድ
- በሂደትም በኢትዮጵያ የቴሌቪዥን ጣቢያ ለመጀመር

For more than a decade, EthioTube has been an independent platform for Ethiopians around the world to share opinions, and be informed citizens. In a growingly polarized environment, we have built a truly impartial media over the years. EthioTube has been a pioneer in introducing citizens journalism among Ethiopians; it has been producing and presenting various popular programs to its viewers.  It's a well know unique attribute of EthioTube which brings people from diverse religious, ethnic, and political persuasion and create a platform to help develop the culture of civil discourse. Over the years, EthioTube has demonstrated it is a responsible media by giving the accuracy of the information it provides to its viewers a higher priority than the revenue it generates with clickbait. Our dream and purpose is to see an Ethiopia, where justice, equality and freedom of speech is respected. 
 
The next chapter for EthioTube is to open an office in Ethiopia, and fulfill its professional duties from the ground, which is holding the powerful accountable. This is where your help comes in. EthioTube needs your support to:

- Open an office in Ethiopia, hire truly independent and professional journalists
- Conduct investigative journalism in Ethiopia on critical subjects which are relevant to the community
- Hold EthioTube Panel Discussions in Ethiopia on various subjects
