NVPS: Return to School Safely!

Hello Wildcat Families! As many of us prepare for our children to return to school this fall, we’re faced with a new set of choices and challenges. As a mom of two children in the district (2nd and 5th grade)--I’m with you! Teachers and staff are also navigating how to care for our students, their families and themselves as we enter into the 2020-2021 school year.
With support from the Northview Education Foundation and school superintendent, Dr. Scott Korpak, I’ve built this campaign to raise funds to support our schools in their efforts to keep staff and students healthy this school year.
Suggested use of funds include: masks, hand sanitizer and wipes; teacher appreciation and investments in mental health support for teachers and staff.
Campaign will run from August 4, 2020 - September 4, 2020. The total amount we raise will be shared equally between Northview’s 7 schools. Funds will be used by each school within 3 months of receiving the monetary gifts. Each school may share updates on how they used the funds in the Northview News. School representatives from the Northview Education Foundation will partner with school administrators to ensure the funds are being used promptly and in ways that relieves burdens associated with providing quality education and support as a result of the pandemic.
Every dollar counts! These are hard times—no pressure to make a large gift. Together, I’m confident that we can raise enough money to make a great impact!
