On the morning of April 20th 2021 my best friend Cody Kolstad was woken by his neighbor banging on the door screaming that his and my friend Miranda’s apartment building had caught on fire. Cody’s car was completely destroyed by the fire. The apartment has smoke damage and is unlivable. Although, he had rental insurance through the apartment complex they told tenants that unless you have a medical condition they’re not able to get them a hotel or help them out. They’re not refunding them security deposits or rent money. They have to move out immediately and find new housing. Finding a new place to live in a pandemic and in California is tough. If you know Cody, you know he is the kindest, most selfless human being on this earth. He would give the shirt off his own back to anyone. This experience was very traumatic and any donation would be greatly appreciated and used towards new living/car expenses. Thank you all!
