Please help save Ryder

This is literally a life or death situation and we don’t have much time. Hi everyone my name is Jennifer Laroche and I’ve created this page to help my friends Jessica and Steven Clickstein on the financial burden of their sick dog Ryder. Anyone who has a pet, specifically a dog, knows that it’s not just a pet or a dog, it’s your baby, your child, your life. Jess and Steven just bought their first home a couple months ago and are getting settled in to welcome their first baby girl in December! Ryder is so excited to be a big sister! Jess and Steven adopted Ryder from sweet paws rescue when she was a puppy and will be 6 in January. She’s a Shepard mix, full of life, energetic, BEST dog and great friend to those who love her, especially to Jess and Stevens little niece and nephew.
Ryder started with an anal gland rupture, shortly after that she got kennel cough. They thought she was getting better. But Thursday morning they noticed she was very lethargic and breathing heavier than normal so Jess called the vet and they said to bring her to the emergency, they did scans and blood work. Turns out Ryder has a bad case of pneumonia and is at Woburn hospital being well taken care of. She has an IV, chest tubes, has taken plenty of X-rays, CT scans, etc are still needed to continue her care and the vet bills keep piling up. As of now the vet bills are at 13k and they’re not even close to being done. Ryder now needs surgery on her lungs to repair the air that keeps leaking out. The total for just the surgery alone is 15k. No one should have to choose between money and keeping their pet alive. Jess and Steven have had a rough year, they lost their best friend Chelsea to having a routine heart surgery, please help keep Ryder alive so they can enjoy this precious time of her remaining weeks of her pregnancy. Anything will help and we appreciate all of you ♥️ I will keep this page updated.
