Hello, Christian Loy here. My precious friend, Jordan Hughes, and her family (Tim, daughters, and son) need our prayers more than ever. On February 2, 2023 sweet little Hudson (2.5 years old) accidentally pulled a boiling pot of water onto himself. He suffered severe burns on his chest, abdomen, left arm and hand, left leg and left foot. By the grace of God this boy is alive!

The University of Wisconsin Burn Center cared for Hudson all week and then sent him home .....with the hope that his home environment would promote healing AND it did! However, Hudson has a long road to healing. He heads back to UW on February 14th for wound care and skin graphs.

In addition to ongoing wound care, PT and OT will be in the picture for a while, and their home will need to be equipped with safety and medical equipment in order to offer a safe environment to meet the needs of his rehab and recovery process. Needless to say, with many days of work missed and more to come, travel expenses back and forth to the hospital and out of pocket medical expenses, this family is experiencing a very heavy financial and emotional burden.

While we have seen God’s hand in so many ways, they could certainly use some extra support. Many thanks and God bless you all!
