My ever curious pup Sam thought it would be a fantastic idea to eat his dog brothers pain medicine. His brother Winston tore his dew claw this week and Sammy ate 27 of Winston's pain pills.

Sam is now fighting for his life and is in kidney failure, we never thought both our furbabies would be hurt at the same time and the financial cost to treat Sam is multiple thousands of dollars.

Sammy is only 4 years old and is more than our pup, he's so loved by his human sister and brother and any donation would be greatly appreciated, we want to give Sam a fighting chance and he's currently in a doggy hospital .

The next 24/48 hours are crucial, but those who know Sam, know he's a fighter and I'll do whatever it takes to give him a fighting chance at recovery.

Sam is home! However, he's still sick, his kidney levels have stabilized and next week we will confirm there is no lasting long term damage.

his ulcers are still bleeding, but they are improving as well. He's home snuggling us all receiving lots of TLC and medications for the foreseeable future.
