Hi,
I hate doing this, but I need help. Due to problems with my husbands Social Security and my IHSS, ( they say he's able to go to work even though he is totally bed bound, unable to walk, on a feeding tube, colostomy bag and catheter, also is now suffering from dementia ) I am on the verge of losing my home. I am 2 weeks late in paying my rent and electricity. If it were just me I could get by but I cannot have my husband go into a nursing home. We tried that when he first became so ill and it was horrible. I've been married to my husband for 31 years, and have taken care of him for the last 5 years since he became disable due to a bad procedure. I just can't lose him by putting him somewhere.
I know everyone is having their own struggles but don't know where else to turn. I have tried everything I can. Most agencies I've tried say I make to much money even though I'm not bring in anything right now. Or, I have no way to get to places to help out with TID. Believe me when I say I've been on the phone almost constantly these past 2 weeks.
Please, if anyone can help I will be so indebted to you.
