Hi, my name is Nichelle. I’m fundraising because I have a chronic rare cancer called Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma. This type of cancer does not have a cure so I have to travel from Delaware to University of Penn Perelman Center to get treatments and I take multiple specialty medications to help me have a better quality of life. I can not afford to pay the copays for the specialty medications because they are extremely expensive. I’m asking for help to pay for an injection medication called Pegasys. The cost is $4000 per month. After my health insurance pays I am still responsible for a $500 copay monthly. I have called several foundations and they don't have any funds available for my chronic cancer or they don’t cover my diagnosis. This disease affects me physically, mentally and financially. I will use the funds to pay for the copays.
