As many of you know I am attending the European Film College here in Denmark.

The remaining 9-10 weeks is reserved for working on larger projects in contrast to the smaller ones we have done throughout the first part. Students can do fiction projects or documentaries, and I have decided to do a climate change related documentary on a small wine farm on the island of Gotland, Sweden.

The documentary will revolve around Andrea Guerra, an Italian wine maker who believes that within thirty years the wine industry in Italy will grind to a halt as a result of global warming. My plan is to go to Långmyre Vineri farm over Easter and film him working on the farm with his family and speak to them about their story. His Swedish wife Emma Serner is the CEO and together they have a baby.

My project is not funded by the school, but I believe so much in the project that I have decided to take on the task as a personal project and try to finance it myself. That would also be a good experience for my future working with films.

That is where I kindly ask you to come in… I need to gather funds for transport to and from Gotland and costs there. If I can gather enough I would rent some equipment to make an even better documentary. If anyone would be so kind to help me with a little bit of funds it would truly help this documentary come to fruition.
