Nu'uanu House Fire
A blaze tore through a six-unit Nuuanu walk-up Wednesday, leaving all 15 occupants of the building homeless.
The two-alarm building fire broke out around 10:25 a.m., and was extinguished by 11 a.m.
There were no reports of injuries among tenants, but a puppy did die in the fire.
And all the units in the building sustained significant damage. The American Red Cross of Hawaii is assisting displaced residents.
My family has been displaced due to this unfortunate event and they have lost their puppy in this fire as well. Estimated damages far exceed $10,000 but in this time of need all we are asking is to just be able to get back on our feet. Any and all donations including Kid's clothes are greatly appreciated.
