There is perhaps never a time when you are prepared to hear the word "cancer." My coworker, Clifford Gruber has been recently diagnosed with cancer that is spreading throughout his body.  He had to take a leave of absence from his job with HB Rentals and also his second job with Home Depot for surgeries and chemo.  Clifford has always raised his son on his own, who is now a teenager. You can call them "best friends" as they only have each other. Due to the leave of absence from both of his jobs, Clifford is in a huge financial crisis trying to put food on the table and pay his medical bills.  At this time, Clifford's son Austin is having to take off of school to bring his father to all his medical appointments, which includes his surgeries. 

Everyone handles an experience like cancer and the financial strain in their own way.  What's true for one person may not be true for another.  I, Leslie Leblanc, would like to ask everyone for their help in donating whatever amount you can to help both Clifford and his son get through kicking cancer's butt without losing what little they have right now.  Any money right now would go a long way to help ease the stress of putting food on the table, running water and electricity, and gas money for Austin to bring his dad to all his appointments.   It is a burden no teenager should have to go through, but losing his best friend would be worse.
