Nutgrove Boxing Club. 60k in 6hrs

Hi. I'm fundraising for Nutgrove Boxing Club. This is a voluntary club run by the tireless work of Seani and Tara. The club provides local youths and adults with a safe, inclusive, positive sporting environment where boxers hone their skills. The work carried out by Seani and Tara fosters an approach that will allow all members achieve their potential.

In order to help promote physical activity, friendship, respect and also female participation, both Seani and Tara put in huge efforts and personal time and commitment.

The club continues to thrive. They will be getting some additional premises but this brings start up costs for equipment and other overheads.

I have seen with my own eyes the benefits these young boxers get and also how the club could do with additional funding to move forward with better training facilities.

On the 5th April, I will aim to run 60kms in 6 hours on a 400 running track. I hope this will increase awareness of the excellent work of the club in the area and bring in some much needed funds.
