Hi, I'm Rob Pirkle and I'm raising money for my wife, Nusara's, monthly cancer treatment. We met 12 years ago while I was working with a ministry, now called Breakthrough Nations, in her native country of Thailand. Shortly after we met, I asked her to marry me and she said yes. (Still the best decision of my life!)

5 years ago, Nusara was diagnosed with breast cancer. We were devastated but remained hopeful that God could heal her completely. After having a mastectomy (removing her breast), we thought the cancer was gone. But last year, the cancer returned stronger than before — this time, in her spine. The doctors performed surgery to remove the cancer and put her on a strict treatment plan and began radiation.

8 months ago, the doctor told us that Nusara would die in 6 months and never walk again. When she walked into her 6-month check-up appointment on her own (and alive!), the doctor was absolutely shocked. He told her it was a miracle and even took a picture with her! The doctors did the same tests they had done 6 months prior — but this time, the dark cancer in her bone scans had become much lighter. The good news is — though expensive, the cancer treatment she is on is working!

As missionaries of a non-profit ministry, we rely solely on donations from other ministries and individuals to take care of our monthly expenses. The cost of the cancer treatment alone is $3,000 per month and quickly began to eat into our personal savings and weighed heavily on our ministry's small donor base.

We are still hopeful — and are even more so after Nusara's latest doctor report. But now, I'm asking for your help. Nusara has 9 more months left on her treatment plan, so we are trying to raise $27,000 ($3,000 a month for the next 9 months) to help cover our medical costs.
