We are a group of volunteers heading to Namibia to provide crucial dental aid - and I need your help to make it happen.
Later this year, I’ll be heading to Namibia as a volunteer with Mobile Smiles, a charity that delivers mobile dental care and oral health support to people living in remote and underserved regions. It’s a rare opportunity, and one that I’m deeply committed to.
Many of the communities we’ll visit have limited access to a dentist. Infections, broken teeth, and untreated pain are daily realities with debilitating consequences. With a small, mobile team, we’ll be providing much needed hands-on treatment, early intervention, and practical education - all of which can have a profound impact, not just on oral health, but on one’s ability to eat, sleep, work, and live without pain.
Why this matters:
️We’ll be building something lasting.
This isn’t a one-off drop-in - it’s about leaving people with the knowledge and tools to look after their own health. That level of independence is priceless, and we'll be working with dentists on the ground in Namibia to enhance our impact.
Dental care is about dignity.
A smile isn’t just cosmetic. Pain-free teeth can mean getting a job, speaking confidently, enjoying childhood or eating a proper meal with family. Your support can help make that possible.
Global health doesn’t stop at borders.
Healthcare inequality is real - and we can be a part of the solution. Supporting this project is a small but powerful way to make a tangible difference.
How you can help:
I’m fundraising to help cover the cost of materials, transport and equipment needed to deliver hands-on care. Any donation you can kindly make, will directly enable me to treat patients who urgently need help.
I'd be hugely grateful for your support - thank you!
