Enthusiastic home gardener, David, proudly sets out into the brisk Autumn air with an empty basket just waiting to be filled. As he documents this process, he discovers a strange, diseased pumpkin lurking among the leaves. Why is this pumpkin diseased? Could this be the pumpkin David has been neglecting?

What begins as a lighthearted look at homegrown produce quickly turns sinister when the pumpkin transforms into a monstrous, talking entity. As the documentary shifts into chaotic horror-comedy, David is forced into a frantic, absurd battle for survival and must come to terms with the cause of this disaster.
