History

Nurture the Creative Mind just celebrated 16 years of charitable community work. During that period, we have worked with more than 25,000 community youth. Helping them establish self-value while developing their creative mindset.

We have helped students become published authors, nationally recognized podcasters, recording artists, leaders and entrepreneurs. We have also supported hundreds of local professional artists and the local economy, through our events and programming.

Nurture the Creative Mind is widely recognized as one of the most impactful and supportive arts organizations in our area.

One of our mission's pillars is access, so we have accomplished all that we have during our 16 years in operation, without charging a single family, to benefit from our organization's many programs.

Fundraiser Purpose

We are developing a creative education and entrepreneurs program that teaches community youth creative skills, provides employment opportunities for young people and services to the community. A service that will help us earn revenue for our organization and become more self-sufficient.

What is the Objective of the Project? Creative Development - Business Education - Charitable Service

The students will learn multiple skill sets including DTG screen printing, and how to manipulate creative software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, all taught under the mentorship of a professional. After completing the program they will be provided an opportunity to earn competitive market-rate employment, to help fulfill orders our organization receives from the community.

All students who participate in the program will also be able to print a monthly allotment of their own shirts, at our cost for the supplies, and sell them to others for a profit.
