HI, my name is Lashundra, I am currently in nursing college for my bachelors in nursing . I am a year away from graduating and i am in need of some help please. I do have a job where I work as a tech 12hrs a day 4 days a week . Let me just say 10 dollars an hour, doesn’t exactly stretch like you need it to. I also help my mom with her bills and meds. plus I go to school 5 days out a wk plus every Saturday so getting another jobs, isn’t easy right now. My goal is to get my BSN, a Masters and doctorate with a concentration  in critical.

My granny is why I chose nursing, she had breast cancer then it went into remission only to come back a year later as stage 4 brain cancer. I knew then nursing was my calling the way her nurse cared for and loved her. I knew then I couldn’t see myself doing anything else with my life.  To give someone else family what that nurse gave my family.i can’t begin to put into words.

I was in nursing program before this one, but the school (Virginia college-Montgomery), closed down just when I was 3 classes away from graduating. Honestly, to be this close again to completing my dream job. I just can’t let another bad thing happen without me fighting like hell to keep it. this is where I am planting my flag. I have worked too hard, I have fought through homelessness and an abusive relationship to get to this point in my life & And I refuse to give up without during all that I can first, so here I am, asking you to help me, fight with me, stand with me because I can’t do this alone or without you guys. $23,000 is what I need to get my Bachelors in nursing, it’s  $7,666.67 a quarter for 3 quarters, within that $7,666.67 a quarter it will cover classes, books, clinicals sites, ATI testing, nursing uniforms and supplies needed for the nursing program, I know I am asking for a lot but I also know I can’t do it alone neither and I know that being a nurse is it for me ‍⚕️‍⚕️‍⚕️‍⚕️‍⚕️‍⚕️but I also know I can’t get there  by myself neither

The total cost of my degree is $52,000 for 7 quarters 

$20,000 is what federal loans cover that helps covers my 4 quarters

$36,000 out of pocket which I can’t afford alone.
