Hi my name is Shirley and I am a parent of a child who attends windmill nursery in Motherwell.

The nursery has been educating young minds for over 25 years and has been a great service to the community and all the families that have attended.

Just weeks before Christmas the nursery got the sad news that they had to vacate the premises in which it's been in for all those years and was going to leave 44 children homeless without a nursery.

The staff at the nursery have managed to source new premises but in order to get it up to code there is a great deal of work needing done in order for the children to be able to move into the new building. The fire safety system is going to cost around £15,000 and the fee for the architect is around 7,000,As the parents of the children we are seeking help from anyone who can contribute so that the transition is as easy as it can be for all 44 children to be safe and settled at their new nursery.
