In the past month our friend Maryellen Taddei was diagnosed with cancer. We are hopeful that she will completely beat this disease.
As you know Maryellen spent a great part of her career working at Branford Pediatrics and Allergy as a nurse. She currently works for Guilford Public Schools as a School nurse where she is loved. She is also heavily involved in the St. Mary's church choir group where she has participated for years.
We all know that Maryellen is a "giver." She has a very difficult time asking, or taking help. So, as her friend, I am asking for help to make this process less stressful. We just learned about the parameters for her Chemotherapy which will require her to miss work that could exceed her saved time. There will also be expenses associated with her time in treatment and with this disease overall.
Please help us make this process less stressful by helping with expenses. I am opening this gofundme for a period of 1 month, unless I get shut down by Maryellen first. Please do not share this with her. I will share the gofundme with her when it closes and its too late to not accept. I will also share all of your notes and well wishes because I'm postive she will want to thank each and everyone of you.
