**UPDATE**
As of right now I’ve only been granted a third of the cost for tuition via federal student aid. Unfortunately, I will not have enough even to pay for school so this GoFundMe means even more than just bridging the gap. I am applying for scholarships and grants but many of them are not awarded until completion of the firsts semester to ensure the award goes to committed students. They don’t know HOW MUCH I WANT THIS!!!
As a thank you for your donation I will strive for straight A’s and fully engage in every way to be the best I can be. I will come and apply band aids and do home visits!!
Thank you in advance and I realize that not everyone can donate but your encouragement (and any creative ways to make this work) is always appreciated, in fact it’s what’s gotten me this far❤️❤️!!!

I’ve completed two years of the 4-year Bachelor of Science program with all A’s and A+ grades. It was hard—maybe the hardest thing I’ve ever done. And I did it while raising my daughter and working full time. I couldn’t have gotten this far without the support of my wonderful family and friends.
Now I need help again to make up the shortfall between the money I have and what I’ll need to pay in advance for the final two years. I’m inviting you to invest in me and help me achieve my goal to become an RN and to be able to financially support myself and my daughter. My goal is to raise $10,000 by June, 2019.
I’ve been accepted to the accelerated bachelor of science in nursing at Emory. One of the best programs in the country. I am honored and proud and so incredibly grateful for this opportunity. I chose to apply to Emory because of their commitment to research, the scope of what they do and for the chance to ultimately work for them in pediatrics. None of this so far have I done alone. I owe a great deal to my incredible family and friends who have encouraged me and supported me in myriad ways. Thank you for taking the time to read this and if financial investment is not possible know that every “way to go” and “you can do this” is just as important!
