Nurse Linny's Somerset Parents & Friends Gift
Donation protected
Linny Clayton was diagnosed in October 2019 with significant vision loss due to a hopefully-benign-and-slow-growing tumour just above the pituitary gland (suprasellar lesion) in the skull. Surgery will be required in mid-to-late October to test the tumour and then commence treatment. Due to the degree of vision loss, Linny is no longer safe to drive a vehicle, and it is unable to be predicted whether or not this will improve after treatment. While this is certainly a shock to the Clayton family, Linny is focusing on gratitude and positivity while accepting that the road ahead will be difficult and emotionally challenging. Linny and family are very grateful for the love and support given by friends, family, and work colleagues.
We have all at some point experienced the amazing care Nurse Linny has always lovingly provided to our children, whether applying a simple band aid or tending to more serious issues even just her caring support on a sad day of our little ones missing Mum & Dad!! We are collecting any donations towards an Ipad, meal vouchers or anything Nurse Linny and her family may need during this trying time.
