Nurse Leona asks for help.

I am a nurse. I have been fighting to clear my name and to make positive change for nursing professionals for almost 5 years. It has cost me my career, my savings, my pension, and many tears but I won’t give in. If I can make just a little positive change happen, then I have achieved. All the money I earn I spend on legal fees to keep fighting. I have been granted an employment appeal hearing which is soon - but legal representation costs so much - which is why I started this page. The NMC said I have no case to answer but the Trust I am in dispute with have banned me from ever working at their hospitals again. If you can share this page and help me it would be amazing. ITV told my story after I was told I had no case to answer by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. I was referred to the NMC 3 years after leaving the Trust I am in dispute with. I worked through Covid-19 and in October 2020 I received the referral which coincided with me catching Covid-19 and not being able to work for 10 weeks during which I didn't receive any pay. This was published after the NMC concluded their investigation. I am now fighting to clear my name in the Employment Appeal Tribunal.

If I am lucky enough to receive support and there are any funds left over I would like them to go to Jacks Club. It is a very special cause in memory of a special young man who was tragically taken too soon.
